BECOMING LOVE
A DEEP SPIRITUALITY FOR ORDINARY LIFE
Welcome to Becoming Love
AN ANCIENT WAY OF WALKING WITH JESUS
Becoming Love is a community of people seeking a deep spirituality for ordinary life. We believe that in the modern, Western Church, we have failed to find a kind of formation that helps people go deep with God over time, rather than live into an exhauasting cycle of spiritual highs and lows. We’re exploring an ancient way of being formed by Jesus that works over the long term - one that is deeply restorative, transformative, and abundant.
Get Started
Formation at its best always happens face to face, in the context of a real human community. Whether we’re exploring ideas for forming a small group, practices for living into the life of the Church, or prayers to take with you into your day to day, everything we’re creating exists to support an in-person life together.
What We’re Building
-
Long form articles, videos, podcasts, and downloadables designed to be companion tools for your walk with Jesus in community.
-
A weekly newsletter building out the foundations and practices of a communal Rule of Life for Catholics in a modern age. You can subscribe here!
-
An opportunity to gather with others, either on a webinar or in person, to wrestle through this way of formation and ask questions.
Our Community
Becoming Love is based out of the life of our young adult community in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Most of what we have to share is rooted in our experience of trying to walk with Jesus in a sustainable way and for the long haul.

CONTENT DIRECTOR
I am a writer and musician based out of Halifax, Nova Scotia. I work full time as the Program Coordinator for our local university chaplaincy but outside of that I love to spend time with my wife and daughter and our incredible small group (usually at home but I’ll never say no to a hangout in a cozy Maritime pub).

EDITOR
Hi! I’m a reader/writer hailing from Halifax, NS. After studying literature for four years in the academic sphere, I’m currently rediscovering my childhood love for the written word. When I’m not composing lyrical ballads in my head, you can probably find me outside, admiring the beauty of creation on a long walk/run.
